Salt & Pepper

So, after making a quick model of a salt shaker for yesterday's entry, I couldn't resist creating its complement and running a render while working on my paper for my MFA. Love being able to bounce back and forth between the digital and the traditional.

It looks great!

I gotta ask...

1) how big did you render that before sizing it for the blog?

2) how long did it take to render that?

3) how many processors and what clock speed for each were used?

4) was the processing done on a single machine with multiple processors or was the task farmed out to multiple machines?
